The No. 6 seed Buckeyes will face No. 3 LSU on the Tigers’ home court in Baton Rouge. Now, tip-off begins Monday at 8 p.m.
Tough First Round
The Buckeyes advanced on Saturday in a hard-fought game against No. 11 Missouri State. Surely, big performances from two of the nation’s top scorers, Jacy Sheldon and Taylor Mikesell, carried Ohio State to victory.

The Tigers narrowly defeated Jackson State 83-77 at home on Saturday. Emphatically, Khayla Pointer, the nation’s No. 31 ranked scorer, hit a clutch three down the stretch to advance LSU to the second round.

Home Court Advantage in LSU
LSU had the fortune of hosting the first two rounds of the women’s NCAA tournament in Baton Rouge. Significantly, the Tigers are 15-2 at home this season, while Jackson State has been slightly above .500 on the road (9-6).
The Pete Maravich Assembly Center should be packed and loud for the second-round matchup. Reportedly, head coach Kim Mulkey has bought tickets so students can get in free to catch the Tigers’ last home game.
