The Gators ranked No. 7 in the nation with causing turnovers per game. They average 9.83 caused turnovers per game. Becky Browndorf ranks thirty-first for turnovers caused per game with an average of 1.67.

A Gator that you need to watch for is Pavinelli. She leads the team in scoring and up until this point scored 29 points. Averaging 4.83 points, 6.50 shots and 3.67 goals per game, the Orange need to keep an eye out for her as she will likely be the main point scorer for the Gators. Pavinelli and LoPinto both tie for leading the team in assists.

LoPinto started six out of six games this season and scored the second-most goals of the team with 16 and 23 points.

Get to know Syracuse

Syracuse is going to be a tough team to beat for the Gators. It has currently only lost one game to Northwestern 16-15 in overtime. It ranks seventh in the nation for goals per game, averaging 16.29, eighth in the nation for both assists and points per game and sixth in shooting percentage.

For the Orange, Meaghan Tyrrell has 28 goals and 35 points under her belt. Her sister Emma Tyrrell leads the team with 12 assists.

Posting 42 and 36 in the draw circle, E. Tyrrell and Katelyn Masheweske lead the team.

The Gators’ defense needs to be ready for ‘Cuse to quickly move down the field and put on the pressure.

On the defensive side of the team, this season both Sarah Cooper and Katie Goodale tie for 11 caused turnovers.  ‘Cuse’s goalie Kimber Hower saves goals left and right. She records 27 saves and has a .333 save percentage.
