The Gator Gymnastics team will be in action this evening as they host another top-ranked SEC foe in the No. 9 Arkansas Razorbacks.
Last week the Gators suffered an upset on the road to the then ranked No. 11 Georgia Bulldogs. A few performance stumbles from Florida, like All-American Bridget Sloan’s leg cramps, caused the Gators to lose the meet by only .05 points and pushed the Gators down to number two spot in the polls. Tonight the Gators will look to turn things around in the O’Dome in hopes of avoiding their first regular-season losing streak since 2006.
This will be the third top 10 team the Gators have hosted this season. The Gators are 2-1 in the SEC while Arkansas is 2-2. The last time these two teams met was at the NCAA Morgantown Regional where the Gators placed first (197.475) and Arkansas placed fourth (196.50). Overall, the Gators have dominated the all-time series with the Razorbacks with a 35-3 all-time record.
