Florida Ends Regular Season With Rematch Against Kentucky

The thirteenth ranked Florida Basketball Team will collide with the top ranked Kentucky Wildcats in the Stephen C. O’Connell Center Sunday afternoon.

Florida is 22-8 overall and 10-5 in SEC play this season. The Gators are currently in the midst of a two-game losing streak. The most recent loss came against the Vanderbilt Commodores Tuesday night in Nashville when Vandy knocked off the Gators 77-67.

The Wildcats are 29-1 this season and are undefeated in SEC play with a record of 15-0. Kentucky is currently on a 21-game winning streak which includes a 78-58 victory against the Gators back on February 7th in Lexington.

Kentucky is led by freshman forward Anthony Davis. Davis leads the Wildcats with 14.1 PPG and 9.8 RPG. The 6’10” 220lb Davis posted 16 points and 6 boards in Kentucky’s previous matchup against Florida.
