Preview: Tigers Look to Scratch Bulldogs

Ranked No.22 Auburn. Yes! For the first time in fifteen years, the Auburn basketball team is ranked. The Tigers have been having one outstanding season so far being one of the dominant teams in the SEC. For the past couple of years they have not been one of the noticeable teams in the SEC, but this year it’s looking different.

The Tigers recently overcame a 1o point deficit that would have ruined their perfect 15-1 record to Ole miss. They haMissne of the best records in the SEC, landing them right on top of the Kentucky Wildcats. Everyone knows that Kentucky is always the best team in the SEC. The Tigers stand strong being ranked number 2 in the SEC conference. With taking that win from Ole Miss that is their 13th straight win, one of the longest in the country.  Auburn fans have not seen a record like that  since their 1999-2000 season. The team is lead by their leading scorer, Mustapha Heron. Auburn also leads the SEC in scoring. The Tigers pack their bags up along with 2  full bus loads of students, traveling to Mississippi St in hopes of continuing their winning streak.

Mississippi Bull Dogs

The 10th ranked SEC Bulldogs are lead by Head Coach Ben Howland. Look to host the Auburn Tigers and snap their 13 game winning streak. The Bulldogs are coming off a tough lost to the number 1 ranked in the SEC Florida Gators. The team is lead by the leading scorer Quinndary Weatherspoon who is averaging a solid 14.4 a game will try and lead his team to a win.
