Heat Keep Streak Alive

Chalk up another record for LeBron James and the Miami Heat; their 105-103 victory over the Boston Celtics last night in the TD Garden gave them their 23rd consecutive victory. With the win, it moves the Heat to second all-time in NBA history, passing the 2007-2008 Houston Rockets’ win streak.

The Heat at one point in the game trailed by 17 points; their largest deficit during their 23 game winning streak. Reigning MVP LeBron James scored 37 points, dished out 12 assists and grabbed seven rebounds. Two of those points came from a monstrous dunk James threw down from a lob by Norris Cole on Celtic guard Jason Terry.

James also hit the game tying basket with 10 seconds remaining in the game. Heat play by play announcer Mike Inglis had the call.

Heat coach Erik Spoelstra spoke about what this all means and how significant it is to this team.

Miami hits the road again as they will be in Cleveland Wednesday night, taking on the Cavaliers. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
